Mission Pet Health Named #1 On 2026 America's Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® List

Mission Earns Top Spot in Veterinary Care for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Birmingham, AL, Nov. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mission Pet Health is proud to announce that it has been ranked the #1 company overall on the 2026 America's Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® list, as featured in the Wall Street Journal. The recognition also marks Mission’s fifth consecutive year as the highest-ranked company in veterinary care, and its second consecutive year among the top five employers across all industries.

This prestigious honor recognizes companies that put employee happiness and workplace culture at the forefront of their business success. Leading the 2026 list, Mission joins the ranks with companies like First Watch, Parkview Health, O2E Brands, and more.

Dr. Jay Price, Mission Chief Executive Officer, highlights this immense honor being possible because of the thousands of Mission teammates across the U.S.

“Being named America's Most Loved Workplace is an incredible honor, but what makes it meaningful is that it reflects how our teammates feel about being part of Mission," said Dr. Price. "We've always believed that great organizations are built by great people, and it is our responsibility to create an environment where those people feel supported, valued, and have the opportunity to grow. As we've grown, we've always believed that our size should never come at the expense of relationships, trust and a sense of belonging that make our hospitals special. That's something we have to earn every day."

The America's Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® list is produced by Most Loved Workplace® and Best Practice Institute and evaluated through the Love of Workplace Index™, an independent methodology built on employee sentiment data from more than 2.5 million U.S. employees. The selection is based on employee surveys measuring five key areas: outlook on their future at the company, career achievement, alignment with company values, respect at all levels, and collaboration. The analysis also looks at inclusion and belonging, career development, and leadership.

As a leader in the animal health industry, Mission continues to look for new ways to strengthen the programs and benefits that support more than twenty-three thousand teammates across the country.

The comprehensive support Mission offers teammates includes competitive pay, industry-leading PTO, as well as advanced clinical and leadership training, continuing education, a women’s leadership summit, a proprietary Veterinary Technician school, and distinct career pathways for professional growth for all teammates. Most recently, Mission launched a first-of-its-kind surgical mentorship program in partnership with Operation Kindness Humane Society in Carrollton, Texas, creating hands-on training opportunities for early career veterinarians while increasing access to care for animals in need.

"Being recognized as the leading veterinary employer for five consecutive years reflects the dedication of our teammates and our commitment to listening to them," said Chief People Officer Lizzie Garner. "We use teammate feedback to develop meaningful programs, strengthen our culture, and create opportunities for growth. We are committed to continually evolving how we support our people because they are the foundation of everything we do. When we prioritize taking care of our teammates, they are able to provide the exceptional care that pets and families deserve."

With proven track records of clinical and operational excellence, Mission previously earned recognition on prestigious lists such as Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America, U.S. News & World Report Best Companies to Work for Awards, and Newsweek’s America’s Most Loved Workplaces.
